This sculpture is a white paper bag sitting under a perspex box on top of a white plinth. There is a small tear in the paper through which a glass eye is peering. A coil of brass wire inside supports this - in a manner similar to earlier I Spy works. The work makes reference to Spring, when things make their first miraculous appearance from their dormant state. There are other references to wearing a bag or hood on ones head - some comic, some more sinister.
